Ravenna Golden, known as Rav to some, is a singer and writer based out of Los Angeles. She writes songs for all occasions, both for others and for her alt-pop leaning solo project. She grew up listening to pop punk and alternative, as well as 2000’s pop/rap radio classics. Golden has released tracks in the hyperpop vein with Dylan Brady of 100 gecs, ninajirachi, umru, and many other artists who are the backbone in this emerging genre. Her collaborative track “Black Rum” on the Cake Pop album is an underground anthem.
Ravenna writes songs from the heart, drawing on feelings and experiences from all areas of life to bring together a song that means something. Moving forward, she is writing more and more for other artists. She loves to help bring together an artist’s vision and experience. Sonically, the songs she writes can range from pop to rap to something more EDM, or something very soft and acoustic. Rav brings the heart and should to the track! Any and all genres can be worked into her writing lexicon.
